To all of our church family that will be travelling during the holidays be safe knowing that your brothers and sisters at Westmount Baptist Church will lift you up in prayer and that the Lord Jesus Christ will be with you each and every day.

√ Furnace Update: The furnace is scheduled to be installed this coming week. Praise God! Financial update: Total cost including taxes: $50,188.00 Initial payment $30,188.00 which includes $13,193.00 in donations. Balance owing: $20,000.00.

 

√ If anyone is interested in helping with Sunday school please see Kathy or Lilia.

 

√ For anyone who feels the spirit leads them to reading scriptures during the Sunday morning services please put your name on the sign-up sheet in the Narthex.

 

√ May 11th, 2019: Quebec Baptist Women’s Spring Event will be held at Westmount Baptist Church from 9.30 a.m. to approximately 1 p.m. We will have a pot luck lunch, so please bring a lunch to share. We look forward to seeing as many women as possible to this event. For further information please see Audrey Nyahoho and/or Wilma Howard.

If you desire to volunteer in the areas of children and/or the elderly, please contact the Pastor. He will submit your application for a police check which will confirm an individual’s compatibility in either one of these areas. This is a mandatory requirement for the WBC Plan to Protect. There is no cost to individuals for a police check. Only staff members are required to pay $65.00 for the police check.
