√ We are happy to announce that Pastor Joel Okyere has accepted the call as Senior Pastor of Westmount Baptist Church. He will be joining us on November 3rd, 2019. Following the service, everyone is invited to join us in the lower hall to welcome Pastor Joel with a potluck lunch. A sign- up sheet is in the Narthex. For more information please see Gytre.

√ Sunday School: If anyone is interested in volunteering with the Sunday school please see Johnson.

√ SMILE Food Bank: If you wish to offer blessings to our food bank you may do so with donations of non-perishable goods and food vouchers. A basket for donations can be found in the Narthex. For more information please see Sebastien.

√ For anyone who feels the spirit leads them to reading scriptures during the Sunday morning services please put your name on the sign-up sheet in the Narthex.

√ Canadian Baptist Women of Ontario and Quebec Donations: Please ensure that your donation envelope has your name, address, and amount enclosed. Your contribution will be sent by the church to the CBWOQ. The CBWOQ will send a tax receipt to your address. All donations should be given to Carl Plett by November 2019 so that tax receipts can be issued on time for your tax returns. For further information please see Audrey Nyahoho. God bless your gifts.

√ Choir practice every Sunday at 10 a.m.

If you desire to volunteer in the areas of children and/or the elderly, please contact the Pastor. He will submit your application for a police check which will confirm an individual’s compatibility in either one of these areas. This is a mandatory requirement for the WBC Plan to Protect. There is no cost to individuals for a police check. Only staff members are required to pay $65.00 for the police check.
