Pastor Joel was born and raised in Accra-Ghana, West Africa. He became a christian after a dramatic healing experience. Since then, he’s served the Lord in various capacities. From being a street preacher, to being a student missionary for Scripture Union-Ghana, leader of a university Christian fellowship, and as a pastor in different Baptist churches in Nova Scotia.

He holds a BSc in Computer Science and engineering from the University of Mines and Technology, Tarkwa-Ghana. Worked as a Software engineer in the National Information Technology Agency of the Ghanaian Government. And has continued to Work in the IT Cybersecurity Field in Canada.

Pastor Joel originally came to Canada to pursue his MBA in Montreal, but upon his conviction of getting into full-time Pastoral ministry obtained a Master of Divinity from Acadia Divinity College, Nova Scotia.

He is passionate about reaching out to help others, evident in his pastoral ministries in various churches in Nova Scotia and involvements in the communities. He is also passionate about, charitable projects, discipleship, soul winning, leadership development , empowering and raising the young generation torch bearers of the church, and facilitating a multi-cultural and multi-generational dynamic church.

In his spare time, he enjoys walking his golden doodle dog, Titan. He enjoys road trips, camping and loves to be by the water.

Pastor Yoon Sok Kang is married to Kim, and together they have two wonderful children. Sol Angela is their oldest, and Adriel Alberto is the youngest one. Pastor Yoon Sok was born in Korea, and grew up in Argentina until he moved to Montreal. He grew up as a Missionary’s son, but personally had a heart for the Lord.

With a passion to serve God as a Pastor, he pursued seminary studies. Pastor Yoon Sok holds a degree in Theology from Seminario Internacional Teológico Bautista, and another from Acadia Divinity College. He’s a seasoned Pastor and a missionary for over 17 years, serving in a number of churches and missionary organizations in both Argentina and Quebec. He loves to see people come to Christ, and to have a rejuvination in their faith. He enjoys family time, Kim loves taking pictures as well as Sol Angela, and Adriel will find himself learning something new always.
